We finally cover manga. Sort of. On this episode of the podcast, we talk about the one-shots that Hideaki Sorachi did prior to Gintama, Dandelion and Shirokuro.
This is obviously our longest episode so far. We go through the first Gintama Original Soundtrack. We talk about the music that makes this show turn from a wacky adventure to a depressing drama, track by track.
Just a reminder, Anime Expo is next week. We have no panel but we will make the most of it. Be sure to follow the Just A Gintama Podcast twitter for any updates during the con.
Also, be sure to vote on the next Gintalady we talk about. Poll is located on the right side of the site.
Good morning everyone. Well, we are sure it is morning somewhere in the world as you read this post. Despite being tired, sick and unprepared, we are bringing you the next installment in our Gintalady spotlight feature. This time we are covering the moon of Yoshiwara, Tsukuyo.
For those of you attending Anime Expo later this month in June, Doctor will be there with a possible panel (don’t get your hopes up). Regardless, if you are going to be going, leave a comment on here or send us an email. It would be cool if we set up a gathering of Gintama fans again.
Before we begin, we want to give a big Happy Birthday to the big gorilla himself, Hideaki Sorachi. On this episode of the podcast, we offend everyone. Then, we talk about the English dub of Gintama the Movie. We also read emails from the other people that were lucky enough to get the movie early. We are joined the man who helped break the news of the English dub cast, Boywec, and one of the founding hosts of the SSAA Podcast, Peter P. Peterson. This episode will prove that he made the biggest mistake of his life for stopping by Doctor’s house the day this episode was recorded.
We wrote down a list of names. That’s it. Here is an episode talking about said list as well as more news and feedback from our listeners. Go pre-order the Gintama movie if you haven’t already.
