There were many moments in this recording that we had to stop and think about all the important moments that our subject has been in. Not there wasn’t any, it’s just that she was all over the place. On this minisode, we talk about the best big sister in the world, Tae Shimura.
Turns out that everything didn’t go exactly as planned so we are just going to ignore what was said in the latest minisode’s notes. Nijibug comes back alone to get abused and to talk about episode 245 and 246 of the Gintama anime.
If you listened to the episode and noticed the title, we want everyone to vote for Ikumatsu in the Megahouse figure survey. We want to see how far this reaches everyone. After you vote, make sure to leave a #gintamention on Twitter along with the hashtag: #gem_gintama. You could even add #gintamention to the premade tweet that is made from pressing the yellow button that has the word twitter on it. This will be our way of trolling back the series that has trolled us for so many years.
In case you haven’t heard already, Sentai Filmworks has announced that it has licensed Gintama: The Movie aka Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-Hen. Since we figured this was important enough news, we decided to record earlier than expected to talk about it and decided to release it as its own minisode. We are joined by Nijibug and Margie who will be returning in the next episode following this release. It’s like it was planned that way.
Yo. New episodes are out. We now begin the Thorny Arc. Bullet Beast of the Unofficial Hunter x Hunter Podcast makes his triumphant return to the podcast. With him being the first podcast guest to return to the show now puts him at demigod status. Aritzen also stops by for a minute to announce an event that already happened. We love being timely.
OK. This is the first “regular” episode of 2012. Yes. Let’s go with that. We talk about the return of our favorite hosts and the inspiration behind our stolen catchphrase. We also attempt to make embarrassing noises in our feedback section.
We have already announced this on Twitter some time ago but we are going to be going to Anime Boston in April. So if you have any plans on going, please email to us at GintamaPodcast@gmail.com. We want to see if we can actually get a fan meetup of some sort. We are also planning to doing a Gintama panel while we are over there but let’s not get our hopes up.
Also, if you want another way to leave feedback we have a voice mail number: 954-324-7722. This number is being shared with all of the other podcasts in our umbrella so just say you are leaving a message to Just A Gintama Podcast and you may hear your voice on the show. Or you can just ask us on Skype that you want to be on the show. Whichever is less embarrassing for you.
