With the first episode of 2012 we bring to you another Gintaladies episode centering around a real man’s man, Kyubei Yagyu. Awesomousse is luckily not alone in this episode. Your usual hosts are here along with the last winner of our logo contest, Igniz. Nijibug joins us midway through the episode since she forgot to set her alarm. The audio is all over the place since some of it was cutting in and out. Sorry about that.
We would like to start off by apologizing to Aritzen and Awesomousse. Now that that is out of the way, here is the last podcast episode for the year 2011. It has been a very interesting year. This experiment has become something we are glad to have started.
Around this time last year during an episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast, we declared that we were going to start a Gintama podcast. It took a little time but we ended up putting together the first episode. From there, we weren’t even sure if anyone would respond to it. Guess we were lucky enough to have some fans of our other show to help promote our new venture (you know who you are). Honestly, we thought that would have been the extent of our reach. Then more people started showing up. Then more people. Then an entire country. Soon enough, we realized we were stuck in a room full of crazy people. And we still ended up making a lot of new friends.
Thank you everyone. We could have done it without you.
Here is the first of many episodes that are going to be dedicated to the ladies of Gintama. On this episode, Dame Dr Foxy Brown and novelist Awesomousse talk about Ikumatsu. They manage to talk about her longer than she has actually appeared on the show. That’s impressive.
Wow. For some reason there were jet engines next to our mics during the entire recording and we somehow didn’t notice. I hope you won’t mind the audio quality because we have one hell of an episode for you. Bullet Beast of the Unofficial Hunter x Hunter Podcast joins us to talk about Gintama. Friends of the show, please don’t be mad.
Would you believe that it took three tries to start this episode? We will never be a professional show. On this episode on the podcast, we have Gundams, novels and controversy to talk about. Our self-appointed Sakamoto, Nijibug, returns to make noises that no normal human should make. Also joining us is logo contest winner and lone Gundam fan, Nemicon.
