We go completely M for this minisode of Just A Gintama Podcast. On this edition of our Gintaladies coverage, we talk about our favorite crazy ninja, Ayame Sarutobi. The biggest problem that happened during this recording was once we established Sachan is Yuu Kobayashi, we had nothing left.
This now marks our one year of podcasting about Gintama. We celebrate it by completely forgetting about it during the recording and just do a regular episode as planned. We finish up the Thorny Arc and take a look at our favorite bum in this week’s episode. We also do our best with the lack of feedback for the end of this arc. We are more disappointed than mad. Though we did not stress it enough in the recording, we want to make sure that all of our listeners pre-order the Gintama movie. You can find the links below in the show notes.
For those of you attending Anime Boston, we will still be having our Gintama fan meetup on Saturday during the con. More news on that will be said as the weeks go by.
There were many moments in this recording that we had to stop and think about all the important moments that our subject has been in. Not there wasn’t any, it’s just that she was all over the place. On this minisode, we talk about the best big sister in the world, Tae Shimura.
Turns out that everything didn’t go exactly as planned so we are just going to ignore what was said in the latest minisode’s notes. Nijibug comes back alone to get abused and to talk about episode 245 and 246 of the Gintama anime.
If you listened to the episode and noticed the title, we want everyone to vote for Ikumatsu in the Megahouse figure survey. We want to see how far this reaches everyone. After you vote, make sure to leave a #gintamention on Twitter along with the hashtag: #gem_gintama. You could even add #gintamention to the premade tweet that is made from pressing the yellow button that has the word twitter on it. This will be our way of trolling back the series that has trolled us for so many years.
In case you haven’t heard already, Sentai Filmworks has announced that it has licensed Gintama: The Movie aka Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-Hen. Since we figured this was important enough news, we decided to record earlier than expected to talk about it and decided to release it as its own minisode. We are joined by Nijibug and Margie who will be returning in the next episode following this release. It’s like it was planned that way.
