Sorry for the delay folks. Unfortunately, half of the members were out on assignment and we were not able to bring you your weekly dose of Just A Gintama Podcast. Now that we are back we will try not go away. Since there was a lack of news this week, we decided to do a double shot of the anime recap and cover episode 204 and 205.

For those of you that are still interested in participating in our podcast logo contest, we are still taking submissions. All you have to do is incorporate a Justaway in the picture and have our name on it. Besides being able to come on to the show, we will now be giving the winner volume 23 of the manga. This is going to be the last official release of the manga by Viz so obviously supplies will be limited once this goes on sale.

Well, this is interesting. If you are not aware of the news, Viz Media has announced that they will no longer be publishing the Gin Tama manga in the U.S. Yeah, this sucks but the show must go on. We read your feedback and talk about episode 203 of the anime.

Episode 2 – Welcome Back

Oh hey, the anime is back. I mean…WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS BACK!!!!

In this episode we talk about episode 202 of the anime as well as read some feedback. Also, we start up a contest for a proper podcast logo. The only rule is that you need to incorporate a Justaway in the picture. One of the prizes is being able to join us in an episode. It’s not much for now, but it is something.

Minisode 4 – Cutting It Close

I just realized we are less than a day away from the premiere of the new season. We are so behind at trying to catch people up to the anime. Regardless, here is the latter half discussion of the anime’s second season. We will still be releasing minisodes of the past season even though the new season will be airing. I guess we are going to be busy for these next couple of episodes.

Minisode 3 – The Third Set

We picked the best day to release this episode. If you haven’t heard the news already, Crunchyroll has confirmed that they are going to be simulcasting Gintama once it returns in April. The hilarious part is that this episode was recorded and edited the day before the news broke out so now we look like idiots. We will try to make up for it in the next minisode.

Anyway, here is our talk on the first of half of the season season of the series. This one includes a more detailed discussion on the Benizakura arc that we refrained from talking about in episode one. Now we actually know what they are saying.
